Kids and their parents looked like they were having a whole lotta fun this weekend at the Fall Festival – and most of those parents had their cameras and video cameras working overtime to record the fun for posterity. Homestead’s gardenblogger couldn’t resist, either.
Nothing says fall like a good old-fashioned hayride. And the Dixieland jazz of the Boonetown Stompers is a hit any time of the year.
Pony ride!!
Lots of hay was put to good use – to support slides, and to a create kid-size maze.
Kid-size animals, too. These baby pigs are soooo cute.
Thanks to art students from Southern High for their face-painting skills. And how about the concentration on the faces of these bumper-car drivers!
Homestead’s water-gardening expert Dave Kemon manned the tractor to give his passengers a pint-sized thrill. Just scary enough.
And there was more – midway-type games, pumpkin painting, and FOOD. Kudos to Homestead’s awesome events team, headed up by Bonnie Finlay!
