Here are some of the best free and paid events to celebrate Independence Day with a bang.
Fireworks over the Bay:
The town of Chesapeake Beach hosts this free event on July 3 at 9:20 P.M. along the waterfront. Guests enjoy a patriotic fireworks display and splendid company during this annual event.
Annapolis Pre-Independence Day Fireworks Cruise:
For $25 to $48, guests enjoy drinks and snacks aboard the Harbor Queen to watch fireworks on the water. This is great event for couples looking for a little romance and takes place at City Dock in Maryland’s capital city on Thursday July 3.
Visit the heart of downtown Baltimore for a one-of-a-kind celebration at the Inner Harbor. Live music and various performers will be on stage at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater, and the firework display will launch around 9:30 P.M. You can view the fireworks from surrounding neighborhoods like Federal Hill, Fell’s Point and Harbor East. This free event takes place on Friday July 4.
Picnic at the Top!:
Celebrate the Fourth of July with a picnic and a great view of a fireworks display at the Top of the World Observation Level on Friday July 4. Located on the 27th floor of the World Trade Center, the picnic offers kids and adults the chance to enjoy a spectacular view of Baltimore’s renowned fireworks display.
